As a Millennial-led not-for-profit, She’s the First attracts a core audience born between 1980 and 1995, whose relatively small donations stretch far to make a huge difference. The cost of a year’s sponsorship can be as low as $80, but averages $200 to $300 a year.
She’s the First hosts two marquee events each year, the GIRLS WHO ROCK benefit concert and the She’s the First Soiree in New York City. Beyond events, She’s the First is a storytelling platform, where people see the efforts that make a sponsorship possible, and then see how it impacts a girl. She’s the First is a brand that is personally relatable: Women celebrate the achievement that makes them a first, attribute it to their education, and then have an intense desire to pay it forward by giving another girl her opportunity.
In 2010, She's the First raised more than $13,500 to sponsor at least 37 girls for one year!
